The best time to visit Amalfi Coast is from April to October, but we advise you to go from May to September on the honeymoon.

ARUBA

Why

In the 1950’s, this island was the first Caribbean island to exploit its tourist potential, starting with cruise-ships.
At this dutch island you can speak dutch, spanish, english and Papiamento (a Portuguese-based creole language spoken in the Dutch Caribbean). This caribbean island is known for beautiful beaches, soft sand, clear sea and the company we all need for a swim: a flamingo. You can find a lot of flamingos on the beach! Also, you can do snorkelling, a safari, go to the natural pools, go to a butterfly farm, visit the Parque Nacional Arikok and rest at the beautiful beaches.

When

The best time to visit Aruba is from April to August. The high season is from December until April and the low season is from April until December.

BALI

Why

Bali has two sides: the relaxing waking up with a beautiful view and spending the day at the beach; and the adventurous day where you can go swimming with manta rays or hiking up the coast. The culture is a mix of Indian, Hindu and Chinese influences. 

Bali gives you a lot of things to do. You can swim on the beautiful beaches, find the island’s waterfalls, learn a balinese dance, explore the island on a scooter, try some water sports, go sailing on a fishing boat, visit the hot springs, enjoy the balinese massage and experience the Bali sunset sitting on the beach with your drink.

When

The best time to visit Bali is from April to October during the dry season, but the best months for the honeymoon are June and September. For a more affordable trip, we recommend May, June and October.

BARBADOS

Why

In the 18th century, Barbados was a British penal colony. The undesirables were dumped at Barbados as a punishment. It is so hard to imagine that such a tropical island was used like this. But this was a long time ago! Right now you can enjoy the palm trees, beautiful beaches, the tropical weather and the friendly people.

The residents are mostly africans with a british influence, called themselves as Bajans. If you like a luxurious honeymoon you must go to the west coast and enjoy the exotic beaches, the turquoise water and the amazing resorts. If you want a more adventure honeymoon, the east coast is perfect for hiking and surfing.

From January to June it’s the dry season, and from August to November it’s the wet season. The best month is April and the worst is October.

BORA BORA

Why

If your dream is a celebrity-like luxury resort, above the ocean, with the most perfect view, privacy, and do nothing but relaxing? Bora Bora is your place. This island is a mix of different traditions and cultures. There is a lot of music and art, and the food is a combination of Italian, French and Japanese flavors. Although it’s perfect for relaxing, you can still do a lot of activities: ray snorkeling, ATV tour, see the sunset at a cruise, have romantic dinners on the beach, and see whales and dolphins.

CUBA

Why

Cuba, the largest Island in the Caribbean, is a place that is frozen in time. It is the best island for an authentic travel experience. The architecture has influences from the French neoclassical and Art Deco to Spanish Moorish, and you can still see the 50’s style both in the houses and in Cuba’s famous classic cars.

If you are looking to get off grid, Cuba has Wi-Fi but not free nor with the same speed as at home. You can see it like a digital detox, where you can really enjoy a vacation without the social media distraction. You can feel the music and the salsa. Try to avoid April because it is the most crowded month. The dry season is from November to April, and the wet season is from May to October.

Between January and April is the best time to go and skip the hurricane season, enjoying a less crowded season. The driest months are February and March. The hurricane season is from June to November.

JAPAN

The high season is in Spring (March to May) and late Autumn (September to November). It’s when you can see the cherry blossoms (in spring) and red maple leaves (in autumn). June to September is the cheapest season but still with good weather.

December to February is the low season, with fewer tourists and the lowest prices. You still have a lot of winter activities to enjoy.

LISBON

Why

In Lisbon you can find a great diversity of landscapes within walking distance, many leisure activities and a unique cultural heritage, where tradition and contemporaneity come together in harmony. In the capital of Portugal you will find friendly people, good food and beautiful views. Being such an old city, it is also a very romantic one. Its narrow streets lead to magnificent viewpoints overlooking the city and the river. Restaurants with fantastic food can be found in any corner of the city. 

Lisbon is considered one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities in the world, as well as one of the best tourism destinations. But if you have time, you should also visit other places in Portugal! Being a relatively small country, you can rent a car and drive around the country to explore unique places such as:

The high season is from June to August. If you want a cheaper trip you can go from March to May or from September to October because it is still warm but with lower prices and less tourism. In June there is a huge party all month long in Lisbon’s streets called “Santos Populares”. If you want an authentic local experience with music, food and fun you have to go!

MAURITIUS

Why

This tropical Island is known for its lagoons, reefs, beaches and national parks with hidden waterfalls. To explore better the island take a boat to see the fishing villages, the coastlines, the main town and its colonial architecture, and the beautiful garden Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical. Go walk in the lush forest, explore the markets on bicycle and enjoy the nature reserves where you can find some of the native endangered species.

High season is from October to April. The best time to go is in October because it is warm but not humid.

MEXICO

The dry season is between December and April, although temperatures can still reach 28°C December and February are the coolest months.

There are other activities like island hopping, riding and exploring the colonial towns with their colourful architecture. SAINT VICENT AND THE GRENADINES

Why

With 32 islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadine is the best sailing destination and the most romantic for a relaxing vacation. Diving in Tobago Cays, visiting the Botanical Gardens of St. Vincent, stalking the volcano on Union Island, climbing the heights of Fort Charlotte, walking the trail of La Soufriere Cross Country, exploring the falls of Baleine, snorkeling and sailing, and driving along the Leeward Highway Scenic Drive are just a few stunning activities that you can do there!

SARDINIA AND CORSICA

Why

Despite the proximity of the islands, Sardinia and Corsica offer distinct and unique experiences. One is Italian (Sardinia) and the other is French (Corsica).

Sardinia is known for its beaches and restaurants. Around Alghero, the northwest coast, there are many beautiful white sand beaches, traditional villages, forested slopes, great cuisine and the lively capital Cagliari.

Corsica is known as “Island of Beauty” and it’s home to wild coastlines, mountainous national parks, forests, fishing villages and ancient towns, as Calvi.

To the sun lovers go head south to Porte Vecchio during spring the blanket of shrubs, maquis, is in full bloom. To hikers, stop at Vizzavona village for the GR20 route, Europe’s best walking routes.

The low season is still great for the ones who like hiking, diving and nature walks, although the temperatures are not high enough to swim or tan.
